Memoirs Of a Woman

About me

For many years, I thought I was the only one who felt the way I did, the only one who thought the things I thought and that I was very alone.  After writing some of my thoughts, experiences and feelings and subsequently sharing these writings with other people, primarily women, I found that I wasn’t alone.  In this, I decided it was time to share more, so that others may realize that they, too, are not alone.

I feel that once we realize that what we are experience is very similar to others and that others feel the same way we do, we can stop criticizing ourselves and get on with the healing.  Most women tend to hold it all in and try to be perfect and never let on to others that they are anything less or that their lives are anything less than perfect.

So it is with these revelations that I decided that I would share my writings, take the risk of other people seeing my inner thoughts laid out in words on paper, but ultimately, I hope that my writings will not only entertain, but touch and heal, as writing them has done for me.

Christine, I have come over to read some of your musings. Your writing is poignant and sensitive. Your words show how deeply ‘aware’ you are and your gentle way of seeing things. There is beauty – much of it in your work.

Do you not allow comments on your posts? This seemed to be the only space for one to reply to you and I’m thinking many would, if they could.

Also, I do not see any “tags”. Each of your posts could conceivably have several different tags, which in turn generate readership, if that is something you would enjoy. (most of us do) If I may say, that is the way WordPress linked us up in the first place, because of what we ‘shared’ or had in common. Just a thought.

I shall return, dear lady. Be happy
